Green Turtle Dreaming was selected as a pilot project for the Australia-Indonesia Arts and Community, supported by the Australia Council and Asialink. The concept originated with artist Susan Barlow, NAATI translator Richard Barlow and musician/composer Melanie Humphrey.

Green Turtle Dreaming terpilih sebagai salah satu proyek percobaan dalam rangka kerjasama antara Asialink dengan Dewan Pengembangan Kebudayaan Masyarakat Australia. Konsepnya diprakarsai oleh seniwati Susan Barlow, penerjemah NAATI Richard Barlow dan pemusik Melanie Humphrey.


The development of the Green Turtle Dreaming website was funded through the Natural Heritage Trust by the Australian Government Department of the Environment and Heritage. The views expressed herein are not necessarily the views of the Commonwealth , and the Commonwealth does not accept responsibility for any information or advise contained herein.


Green Turtle Dreaming is currently touring nationally with the support of Visions Australia Exhibition Development and Touring funding. The exhibition travelled to the Sarawak Museum in 2005 through the generosity of Arts Victoria International Programs.

Travel to the communities and all materials and documentation was possible through the generosity of The Myer Foundation, Wettenhall Foundation and the Mullum trust.
