WELLBEING 2008

Over the last two years, a team of parents, students and staff at Matthew Flinders Girls Secondary College has been working on a range of issues related to the wellbeing of our College community.  This work has resulted in:  a number of staff professional learning activities, some of which involved student participation; and, the evaluation of College policies and procedures in the areas of student management, College rules and values, and Codes of Behaviour.

In 2008, the work will continue and the focus will be on Student Wellbeing.  The team has planned a variety of activities that will run throughout the year, all of which aim to: celebrate student achievement; reinforce the importance of a harmonious and respectful College environment; and increase student connectedness to the College.
